Inspiration for my artwork mostly comes from rugged landscapes, waterfalls and people. I've used mixed media in my paintings and sculptures incorporating the idea of recycling wood, paper and card using waterfalls as the most prominent subject matter. My art work is inspired by my photography,it is very experimental and process led; the mixture of clay and paper in both 2D and 3D work creates the most exciting results. The prolific ceramics work that I have made relate directly to the rocks and earth of Ireland, Exmoor and Mwanza. |
